This is for me when I’m feeling depressed.

I hope it can help you, too.

Hey! This is not the end of the world.

If it really was the end of the world, everyone around you would know it, too, and no one has sent out the Bat Signal yet.

This is in your beautiful little head. That doesn’t mean that what you’re feeling isn’t serious, real, or valid, but it’s your feelings, not the truth.

You’re going to have to let these feelings pass, and they will.

Because you have life to live.

I know it’s frustrating. The movies make you think that every moment is supposed to be amazing and full of sunshine, butterflies, ultimatums, screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain, and knowing exactly how things will work out in the end.

But that’s just the plotline of a Hallmark movie, not the hallmark of a life lived for real, with the ups and downs that being human brings us.

You’re a human, and that’s a beautiful thing. And it means that everything you’re living through right now has been lived through before and will be lived through again.

You will survive this feeling of despair you have right now.

I want you to surround yourself with little things of joy.
