We’ve got a problem.

At least, I do.

I think our current digital culture gets us in trouble when we start thinking about our phone as an object, something that’s alive, real, and has our best interest in mind, even when that’s certainly not the case.

It’s becoming something we’re “with” all of the time.

It’s like a needy partner, always wanting to slip into our conversations, asking what we’re doing, trying to get us to do something else than the pleasant thing that’s right in front of us.
