3 ridiculously simple habits that are making me a happier person
And how you can start practicing them yourself
Happiness is such a baffling goal. Despite our difficulty in achieving and measuring “happiness,” it’s something we’re all striving for at the end of the day. While I think happiness is more of a mode of living rather than a metric achieved, I do think it’s, in a way, a tangible thing.
Because happiness is somewhat tangible, some things move us towards and away from happiness—habits we practice that either help or hinder.

Recently, I’ve found three main habits that influence my happiness. Since I started doing these three things, life has been a little better, more fulfilling, and measurably happier.
#1: Not making assumptions
I used to walk around trying to guess what other people were thinking/doing/believing. I’m naturally judgmental, and that habit was on fire at a less intentional time. I would walk around without discretion about what I thought or believed about other people.
